We are deeply thankful for the privilege of being part of what God is doing around the world through missions. Long Island Baptist Church has been especially blessed to send out two missionary families from our own church body, each faithfully serving the Lord and carrying the Gospel to others.
The Hazra family were instrumental in seeing several churches established in Bangladesh. Today, they continue their ministry by reaching Bangladeshi people in New York City, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel and discipling believers right here at home.
The Kuzel family have served the Lord in South Africa for over twenty years and have played a key role in seeing churches planted both there and in Eswatini. Their long-term faithfulness and Gospel labor have borne lasting fruit for the cause of Christ.
Both of these families remain a vital part of our church and ministry, and we love and support them dearly. In addition, we are grateful to partner with and support other missionaries and church-planting works around the world, sharing in the joy and responsibility of spreading the Gospel beyond our own community.
Our desire is to faithfully obey the Lord’s command to take the Gospel to every nation, trusting Him to continue His work through those He has called and sent.
